Hydroxyapatite (HA) orbital implant is a good biocompatible synthetic biomaterial. Its composition is similar to that of human bone. Inline pore provides growth scaffolds for soft tissues such as fibers and blood vessels. It is integrated with orbital soft tissues and has no toxicity, rejection, inflammation and absorption to human body. As a new type of intraorbital filling, it has significant clinical effect in orbital reconstruction after eyeball extraction or enucleation, and has been widely used in recent years. After 2 weeks of HA implantation into the orbit, the fibers and blood vessels grow into the orbit, and complete vascularization can be achieved in 6-8 weeks. In general, it can be related to the surrounding tissue shape in about 6 months.
